Do all things but forget

Mumford and SonsSo, this weekend I left my prison and went to Edmonton! It was delightful, so here’s a photo-recap of my wonderful time.
First, we drove down the highway and I was amazed by just how flat the prairies are.
Oh and here’s one of me and the prairies.
So then, I arrived at Wal-Mart in Fort Saskatchewan, and then I hung out with my friend and we went rollerblading. Unfortunately for me, I am not very experience with rollerblading so I was too scared to bring my phone, for fear of smashing it, and there are no pictures from that.
But here is my friend
He wasn’t happy that I took the picture, or aware that I took it until after.
And here is the result of me rollerblading:
In case you can’t identify which part of my body that is, it’s my thigh. The bruise also got significantly larger.
Then, I got back to my uncle’s and we went to pick up a vehicle, watched Shark Tale, and went to bed. The following morning, we went out for breakfast, then went to the West Edmonton Mall to pick his son up and outfit for his baptism.
After that, we returned to Lloydminster. On the way to Lloydminster, my Uncle showed me that Alberta really does have lakes. Here’s a picture to prove it:
Then, once we switched to my Aunt’s vehicle, and we drove closer to Lloydminster, there was a really nice rainbow in the sky. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a rainbow that made a full arc like this:
I could see both ends of the rainbow at the same time, and there was no gold at either one. Leprechauns are liars. Any way, those delightful looking storm clouds just passed the rainbow thought it would be really fun to hail everywhere and make it impossible to see the road.
Eventually though, I arrived safely back in Lloydminster to spend another week in hell before (hopefully) returning to Edmonton and maybe getting better at rollerblading.
It feels like just yesterday I got to walk across the stage and get my diploma.
I can’t believe it was over a year ago now. Time needs to slow down.
This is a beautiful song that I just can’t get enough of.

I wish everyday was as interesting as this one
I love you Mom and Dad. You will always be my parents, despite various factors. No one will ever take that role from you.
